I was born in Tapachula Chiapas Mexico in 1983. My birthday is in February 14 in San Valentine’s Day. When I was 6 years old I started the Primary School in IPCA. I studied there 6 years, and it was a really great time for me. I had my best friends there, because we were together 6 years, and we were like a family.
In the end of my school day, when I was home all afternoons I used to do my homework and after I used to play with my dolls. Sometimes I used to go to my friend’s house to play, and sometimes they came to my house.
When I was 8 years old I had baptism, and this day my father gave me my first dog, and her name is Jitana, and I love my dog. At the same age I started to have ballet classes, because I always like dance, and these classes were a good time for me.
I think that I had a really nice childhood. I didn’t have any kind of problems, and I enjoyed all my childhood. I very really nice memories about my childhood.

When I was a child my mom all nights read me different kind of stories before I go to sleep, and she song me a lot of songs too. I had many favorite stories that I loved that my mom read to me. But I think that my favorites were Little Red Riding hood, Cinderella, 3 pigs, and another that I can’t remember now, but I always preferred Cinderella.
This story talked about a beautiful girl who had 3 sisters, but her mother and sisters were very bad to her. Cinderella use to do all the hard work in the house, and her sisters never did anything.
Some day a person came to Cinderella’s house and told them that can go to the king’s palace, because the prince wants to choose his wife.
Cinderella’s sisters and her mother said: you can go to the dance Cinderella, and se was so sad, but in the night’s dance she could go, and she danced with the prince, and they were in love. They got marry and they lived happy forever.

My Childhood

I remember when I was a little girl and lived in the country with my mother and my grandma. We lived there Mondays until Fridays because they were the teachers in a little school. There were a lot of children who went to school and stayed there for a few days if the weather was bad. I still remember this place, the children (my friends), the big trees, and the birds. My mother was my only teacher in the elementary school and her pupils were more than my friends, they were my brothers. I feel blessed for this experience in my life. I really keep this time inside my heart.

How are you? I think you are not good because you have already died. I want to ask you some questions. In addition to questions, I want to introduce my age. I think you died about two hundred and fifty years ago. Therefore, you don’t know my age and lifestyle.
At first, I want to ask you some questions. Where were you born? I mean, in which part of Japan were you born? I’m interested in that fact. My father was born in Aomori and my mother was born in Tokyo. However, my family lives on Ibaraki. It’s too far from Aomori. I don’t know why my parents are living on Ibaraki, so I want to know the reason. For the same reason, I want to know the facts about your birth.
Next, I want to ask you about your job and hobby. It is important information for me, because, perhaps I have inherited your talents. In addition to this question, I want to ask you about your weaknesses. For example, I want to know if you had no head for mathematics or you were poor at sports. If I can know your weak point, perhaps I can improve it! Therefore, please respond my question if you can.
I want to ask you the most important question for me. Please respond to this question, even if you can’t do it. Do you know why my last name is Higashi? I want to know the reason possibly. I will wait for you for as long a time as I possibly can.
At last, I want to introduce my age and my lifestyle a little. Do you know what is a car? Perhaps you don’t know. It is one kind of vehicle. It is not an animal. We can handle it by ourselves. If I use a car, I can go to far away in a short time. Probably, you feel amazed when you see this machine. However, you had better not be amazed by this example. We can fly in the sky by using one kind of vehicle that is called an "airplane". Can you imagine that amazing fact? If you see it, maybe you will die again from great amazement. As you know, we don’t know each other and each other's age. Therefore, please contact me. I’m looking forward to seeing you. Goodbye.

How are you my ancestors? This is Yumi. I am one of the descendants in our family. I am learning English in America. Do you know America? It is a wonderful place, but the food is not good for me. They have different hair color too. It is gold, brown, etc. I am enjoying my life now.
I became a Christian when I was 19 years old. After that time I became really interested in you, because my church teaches that we have to preach the gospel to our ancestors! You already know what is the truth. I want to baptize you in the Temple, and share this happiness with you. I want to know more about you and your history. It will be help to understand about myself too. I know that you were a sword smith. Before being a sword smith, you were Samurai, and you were one of the emperors who built Kyoto City in 794. It was a great work. I love it. It is still a beautiful city. I am proud of you. You gave me a lot of talents. I became a dental hygienist who also uses little sword in the mouth. My father is a Sushi cooker, so he also uses a knife. It is interesting. Is that from our genes?
I have a very important question. Do you know who is my future husband? If you know about it, please appear in my dream in the night. I would like to know about it.
I hope that we will meet again soon. I want to become to like you. Please always support me.
Sincerely,

Yumi Ogawa

I want to know about my great grandfather's autobiography. I want to know all about him. I hope you are OK in the second world. I didn’t know you because you died before I was born. I know you were a good person, a kind person, and that you always cared and worried about your family.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity of knowing you through your descendents. I would like to know about you. When did you know the gospel? How long did you stay in Benemerito the Las Americas in Mexico? When did you make the covenants in the temple? I didn’t know you before, but I love you because now I know you. You are in my heart.
