There are going to be 2 tasks in the IELTS writing task.

IELTS Task 1
In the task 1 the candidate will have to report the main features of a process, chart, graph or diagram. The IELTs candidate will have to 20 minutes to write a report which will consist of at least 150 words.

IELTS task 2
In the task 2 the candidate will have to write a persuasive essay on a given topic. The candidate will have to agree or disagree with the statement and then provide his or her reasons for supporting or opposing his or her view point. The candidate will have to write paragraphs and the candidate will have 40 minutes to write 250 word IELTS essay.
